David Phillips, the founder of A & R Marketing Ltd, is a professional marketeer with twenty Five years of multi-industry experience ( Thirteen of which have been in the music industry working for Pearl drums and his own company A & R Marketing Ltd ). After Graduating with a degree in Business Studies and Marketing, David worked in marketing for Nintendo, EMAP (Now Bauer Publishing) where he handled marketing on a wide range of magazines and finally GE where he was UK Brand manager.In 1999 David joined Pearl Drums as UK & European Marketing Manager with responsibility for Artist Relations.

A & R Marketing specialises in music industry marketing, working with many of the worlds top artists and some of the most respected instrument brands in the music business. We handle artist relations for the world renowned Drum Workshop company as well as working with Istanbul Agop cymbals. Artist relations services include managing existing artist rosters, spotting new talent, tour support, organising clinic tours, photography and arranging press interviews.
